Amazing care and life-changing results! I had my ICL procedure with Dr. Romesh Angunawela about 5 weeks ago, and I’m thrilled with the results. I had lens replacement surgery because of cataracts two years ago. Romesh at OCL.was recommended by my optometrist. I felt very well looked after in a state of the art environment with real expertise. Follow up appointments were handled well as was a painless and fast YAG procedure a few weeks post surgery, which had been mentioned as a possibility in my initial consultation. Dry eyes were a frustration for a few months post-surgery but that has largely improved. However, I am disappointed that the glasses-free distance vision I was promised wasn't realised. I still need glasses for crisp vision in outdoor pursuits, theatre, cinema, driving. I am grateful that I can be glasses free most of the time and especially that I don't need glasses for reading but still I feel a tang of disappointment that I am a little shortsighted. OCL has mentioned the option of follow up Lazik treatment to correct the problem but I'm reluctant to undergo the risk an additional procedure.
