Highgrove Skin Clinic

I have just had a small cyst on the back of my neck removed at The Highgrove Skin Clinic. All I can say is what a positive, professional and reassuring experience I’ve had, from the initial helpful email to the actual removal of the cyst - Nikki and Dr Boone were amazing! Set in a beautiful house, the clinic itself was spotless and I felt at ease immediately. Upon arrival I was greeted by both Nikki and Dr Boone. Such a personal greeting made all the difference at easing my fears. Every detail was explained clearly, as was the after care. I totally recommend The Highgrove Skin Clinic after the five star treatment I received. I had researched a few other practices before choosing The Highgrove Skin Clinic and I am now so pleased that I chose such an outstanding clinic to have my procedure. Thank you so much Nikki and Dr Boone for doing such an outstanding job. I am truly grateful.

Kept asking me very inappropriate personal questions relating to my relationship, sexual, and medical history, as well as making vaguely racist talk while operating on me (I do happen like the "cosmopolitan" nature of the city, actually, doctor). It's hard to push back against such things when someone has a scalpel to your body. Also stated that he refused to operate on a patient - a grown adult - because he deemend them too young to choose to have said operation, which very much undermines patient agency. I can't for the life of me understand why this anecdote even needed to be shared. Results also underwhelming while being one of the more expensive options - not just scarring, but tissue left behind.

I saw Dr. Boone for a lump removal on my rib. Prior to finding his clinic I had contacted a few others, and was told multiple times that nobody wanted to help remove the lump because I have a heart arrhythmia. Dr. Boone and Nikki were lovely, offering to help remove my lump for £475. £300 less than I had been quoted elsewhere! Not only that, but Dr. Boone seemed knowledgeable about my arrhythmia, and was able to adjust the anesthetic as needed (leaving out adrenaline). I got better treatment for less. The clinic itself was easy to find and is on a bus route, so it is very accessible. Inside the procedure room was clean, modern and well presented. Quite clearly having been cleaned thoroughly before my arrival too. I feel confident in saying it is obvious that everyone working here cares about this clinic and it's patients. During the procedure I felt safe and comfortable, even having a chat with Nikki (who is very sweet) as Dr. Boone worked on my side. Dr. Boone did an incredible job, especially as he was working with tattooed skin. I have a woodland dragon tattooed above where the lump was, and if you didn't know how the dragon looked before my procedure you wouldn't be able to tell anything had been done. I have the neatest little line below the dragon's jaw, which when it fully heals the scar will blend into the tattoo itself. Overall I am incredibly happy with my decision to have my lump removed here, and wouldn't hesitate to go back if I needed a procedure in the future. I would highly recommend Highgrove Clinic and Dr. Boone, getting a 10/10 from me!
