Nakul Patel - Plastic Surgeon

In May of this year I was diagnosed with a suspected basal cell carcinoma (BCC) on the top edge of my ear & was referred to Mr, Nakul Patel by my Dermatologist. My wife and I met Mr Nakul Patel at his clinic in Leicester Spire Hospital and from the very first moment we were made to feel welcome and quickly became very comfortable and confident in him. He examined my ear and then explained what he could do to remove the BCC. He told me there were three options with different aesthetic outcomes. He drew diagrams to explain what he was telling me and we discussed each one. We reached a general consensus, but I really gave him a free hand to do whatever he felt would give me the best outcome. The procedure went very well and the whole time he and his staff made me feel relaxed and confident that I was in good hands. The outcome has been fantastic and apart from my ear being slightly smaller, it is not possible to see that anything has been done. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the outcome and the whole process. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Nakul Patel to anyone who needs a procedure for which he is so brilliant.

His work is masterful; for example, he cut a suspicious mole well within my hairline. Two days after I had my stitches removed, I had my hair cut at a hairdresser's, the hairdresser noticed the procedure within my hairline, she was surprised by how neat Dr Patels work was. Also, my wife and I had moles removed from the front of our face. Neither of us, have any noticeable marks where the moles were present. One would not often look forward to seeing a doctor again.
