About This Clinic

Nestled in a beautifully restored Victorian townhouse on Malone Road, Malone Medical Chambers brings together a diverse team of specialist consultants to deliver personalised aesthetic and medical care. Whether you’re considering weight loss solutions such as gastric sleeve or bypass, exploring minimally invasive vasectomy options, or seeking expert psychiatric support for conditions like adult ADHD and depression, the clinic provides a wide spectrum of services tailored to individual needs[1][5][6]. Plastic surgery, dermatology, and medical aesthetics further round out their offering, ensuring patients have access to both surgical and non-surgical pathways to wellbeing[3][6]. Patient feedback highlights a clinic that strives to be attentive, with staff noted for their dedication—though some reviews mention challenges with appointment waiting times, particularly in specialist areas like child psychiatry[3]. The overall impression is of a practice that values patient care, even as it navigates the complexities of coordinating multiple specialist services under one roof. The clinic’s commitment to a calming, art-adorned environment aims to put visitors at ease from the moment they arrive, offering a distinctive atmosphere that sets it apart from typical clinical settings[2]. Conveniently situated in South Belfast with excellent transport links and 18 free parking spaces, Malone Medical Chambers is easily accessible for patients across Northern Ireland and beyond[1][2]. The building itself—a tasteful blend of period features and contemporary facilities—reflects the clinic’s ethos of combining heritage with cutting-edge care. Consultants are drawn from leading regional and national practices, underscoring the clinic’s credentials as a hub for both routine and complex treatments[2][6]. If you’re seeking a clinic that offers more than standard outpatient care—a place where aesthetic, surgical, and mental health services are delivered with a personal touch in unique surroundings—Malone Medical Chambers invites you to book a consultation and experience their approach firsthand[1][2].

Absolutely awful clinic! Waiting ages for a child psychiatrist or psychologist. When I telephone they are either not available or I am greeted by a very rude unhelpful receptionist. I will take my self funding money and go elsewhere. Can't imagine what help a child could get from this place if that is how their reception staff are.

Terrible services. I contacted the psychiatrist to make an appointment ( as advised by the receptionist) via emails ( twice or three times), sent the referral letter from my GP and received no response ever! The matter was very serious and urgent. I was ready to pay any amount to get the appointment. I have been totally ignored. No explanation at all. Avoid at all costs!

As someone with disabilities, I find that Malone Medical Chambers has been very unaccomodating this last year. I paid £130 for an apppointment on a Wednesday for an appointment on Saturday. In order for me to get an appointment to be booked in, I had to pay and send confirmation of the payment. I paid, sent them a sreenshot of the payment I made and received a simple "Thank you for sending the confirmation of your payment" within minutes of the payment. That's it. I received no details of the appointment as in time, whether it was in-person or remote, nothing. I waited for them to send the details and they didn't. On Friday, the day before the appointment (which is booked for Saturday) at about 1pm, I emailed them for a link to the appointment as I confirmed I wanted a virtual appointment. Lucia, possibly the administrator, responded with a Zoom link but no time for the appointment. I thought I may have misread an email but she definitely did not send me the time of the appointment. I emailed her back around 3pm asking for the time of the appointment. No response. I emailed again at 3:48 asking for the time of the appointment and cc'ed Liz Shaw who I believe is the manager of the Chambers. No response. I sent a callback through their website around 4:15pm. No response. I called Malone Medical Chambers and their calls were redirected straight to voicemail. I called five times between 3:40 and 5pm leaving two voicemails. No response. I gave two - three hours of my Friday evening to simply get the details of the time of the £130 appointment I booked. This has never happened on the NHS and they're free! This isn't the first time MMC have done this but honestly, it'll be the last time because I won't let them direspect me for a third time. Because of them, Dr Tareen has lost a client because there's no way I'm booking through them again. Now because they didn't respond to my email and clearly decided to stop working before they officilly closed at 5pm, I now have to be at my desk at 10am tomorrow and open up the Zoom link for the doctor I booked with to tell me the time of the appointment because they have staff that love taking my money and giving me deadlines for payment but not providing details of what you're actually paying for. Incredibly frustrating, ridiculous and disrespectful. I don't know if I'll be too early or too late for my appointment tomorrow but I'm so upset that my peace of mind as a paying client with disabilities is clearly something that they don't care about. So disappointed in them.
