La Belle Forme

I had upper bletheroplasty at LaBelle Form in Glasgow with Consultant Richard Clark in Dec. 2024. It is an absolute mess my upper eyelids are just marginally better than prior to surgery. At my 3mth consultation I stated to Mr. Clark I don't think they look great, his response....they match the age of the rest of your face well! Mr Clark if thats what I wanted I would have left them they way they were not paid £2,500 to you to fix them. I reached out to the hospital over six weeks ago and spoke to Natalie and sent her pictures of my eyes, she agreed they are not good and said she would get back to me after speaking to Mr. Clark, I haven't heard a word since! I would definitely not recommend LaBelle Form or Dr. Richard Clark to anyone looking for eyelid surgery or any other procedure as not even responding to a patients concerns is just totally disrespectful.

Visited la belle la form for a rhinoplasty consultation. The "consultation" was a 10 minute chat with Taimur Shaoib telling me what he would do, while not really listening to suggestions. Immediately after the chat I was taken to another room and asked to pay a deposit for the surgery. It all felt very rushed and I really didn't feel I had discussed or shared enough. (I also didn't realise this was the last opportunity I'd have to discuss my surgery with the surgeon before going under the knife.) I said I'd like to discuss it with my partner and show her the 3D images first. After doing so I got in touch by email to discuss our thoughts and offer some feedback/suggestions. I was immediately told this would be another £50 consultation - so basically after a 10 minute chat, there's no other opportunity to discuss with the surgeon what you want despite not being on the same page yet. I found this very concerning. My requests and questions were ignored, and I suspect the surgeon can do only one type of nose (turkey style) and any questioning of this will be met dismissively. I eventually went with another clinic, where the surgeon listened and collaborated with me through every step of the journey and made me feel reassured, and I am delighted with my results. Always remember to trust your gut people. If someone is happy to perform surgery on you based on a 10 minute chat and not allowing you any opportunity to share your thoughts or ideas (unless you pay another £50 to share them) - run for the hills. Ask yourself, if you were a surgeon - would you feel comfortable performing rhinoplasty on someone you met briefly after a single 10 minute chat? I certainly wouldn't. After seeing the reviews from others who had rhinoplasty here, and my own experience being railroaded into a deposit so quickly - I am so glad I did. You are really expected to go for a life changing surgery with this surgeon after a brief chat and you aren't allowed any further opportunity express any of your thoughts, concerns or suggest anything between the 10 min chat and being wheeled into an operating theatre. Terrifying.

Things started off well with La Belle Forme, and I was hopeful about my upcoming procedure. Unfortunately, that optimism didn’t last long. After waiting five weeks with confirmed surgery dates, I was informed just five days before the procedure that it would be cancelled due to medical concerns. These concerns had already been discussed during my initial assessment, and at no point was I advised that they could prevent the surgery from going ahead. To receive such news at the last minute was not only shocking but absolutely heartbreaking. Despite my frustration, I accepted the situation and requested that my refund be expedited so I could explore other options. I was reassured by several members of staff—including management—that they would ensure a swift refund process. Sadly, this turned out to be yet another disappointment. After numerous emails and phone calls involving at least four different staff members, I am still nearly £11,000 out of pocket. What I’ve received in return is not care or resolution, but silence and empty promises. The stress and anguish this has caused are immeasurable. Would I recommend La Belle Forme? Based on my experience, absolutely not. The claim on their website that patients will receive “tailored care” feels completely disingenuous. From what I’ve seen, it’s anything but.
